ORT is the largest educational network in Israel. Established in 1949, it has trained over 500,000 graduates, most of them in science and technology. The ORT Israel network provides educational programmes for over 100,000 students in 160 schools and colleges with 8,000 educators and administrative employees.

 

Science and technology have always been at the core of ORT Israel's mission. ORT Israel programmes are fostering and encouraging young students to develop their abilities and careers in High-Tech and advanced scientific studies.

ORT Israel Moshinsky Centre for R&D is constantly involved in researching and developing educational materials, teaching methods, ICT platforms and e-learning. The centre is implementing innovative, pedagogical and organisational processes in schools.

 

We are now looking for the next generation of NANOYOU pilot schools!

During the 2009-2010 academic year 25 pilot schools have been teaching NT in their classrooms with a wide range of materials, including videos, online animations, games, workshops, virtual dialogues, and virtual experiments based on current research. The second call for pilot schools is now open.
