European Schoolnet (EUN) is a not-for-profit consortium of 31 ministries of education in Europe, established in 1997. EUN’s core objective is to support the efficient use of ICT in education in a European dimension. These goals are achieved through projects, competitions, activities, as well as communication and information exchange at all levels of school education, using innovative technologies and their major European education portals for teaching, learning and collaboration.

European Schoolnet is at the crossroads of national and regional education networks, building synergies between communities of teachers, learners, developers, researchers and policy-makers. It has been involved in a large number of science education and awareness-raising projects for school, including PENCIL, Earth & Space Week Competition and Zoom among others.

We are now looking for the next generation of NANOYOU pilot schools!

During the 2009-2010 academic year 25 pilot schools have been teaching NT in their classrooms with a wide range of materials, including videos, online animations, games, workshops, virtual dialogues, and virtual experiments based on current research. The second call for pilot schools is now open.
