NANOYOU also invites young adults to participate in workshops. For instance, a daily environment investigation activity asks users to identify and take pictures of devises and systems in the field of Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) that use NT's in our daily environment. Another workshop invites participants to debate different scenarios on the future of nanoscience and nanotechnologies.

During the 2009-2010 academic year 25 pilot schools have been teaching NT in their classrooms with a wide range of materials, including videos, online animations, games, workshops, virtual dialogues, and virtual experiments based on current research. The second call for pilot schools is now open.
