The Project on Emerging Nanotechnologies was established as a partnership between the Woodrow Wilson International Center for Scholars and the Pew Charitable Trusts in 2005 and has since been dedicated to support positive developments in the nanotechnology industry. Their mission includes the minimization of possible risks, promoting strong public and consumer engagement, as well as the insurance that potential benefits arise from these new technologies.

A broad range of publications on different topics that relate to nanotechnology can be found on their website.
