Advantages: There is a great posibility that the nanotechnology can save us from our current or future discoveries, letting us rethink and reproject every dangerous, but important technology existing today.
Risks: Till now there haven’t been discovered major risks in using nanotechnology.It is still young and only basic discoveries have been made. This makes it quite expensive and somehow strange for some.

Visible/invisible: The gecko's feet are covered with tiny hairs. It has been believed that little suckers(cups) stick to the surface. Recent studies discovered microscopic fibres connect with the surface's molecules.
Advantages: Same technology can be used for firefighters and climbers and can save lives. It can be done with carbon fibres arranged like a broom.
Risks: The fibres stick only when friction is applied between the surfaces, but as long as it's used properly there are no risks.
